This trimester, third graders have been working with their BYOD electronic devices in combination with their notebooks. They have learned to follow the digitally available instructions to create written documents. They developed the ability to read and use templates, samples, and rubrics to produce quality work while recording their work and producing a portfolio to evidence their learning.
In addition, this work supports the efforts of the English department in the exercise of handwriting and self-assessment of handwritten documents.
The wonderful notebooks they produced and the interactive system they used helped them understand how different technologies combine to produce and store knowledge, At the same time, this helped them develop their motor skills and the ability to create clear, organized and well presented documents.

Resumen: Este trimestre, los estudiantes de tercer grado han estado trabajando con sus dispositivos electrónicos de BYOD en combinación con sus cuadernos. Han aprendido a seguir las instrucciones disponibles digitalmente para crear documentos escritos. Desarrollaron la capacidad de leer y usar plantillas, muestras y rúbricas para producir un trabajo de calidad mientras registraban su trabajo y producían un portafolio para evidenciar su aprendizaje.
Además, este trabajo apoya los esfuerzos del departamento de inglés en el ejercicio de la escritura a mano y la autoevaluación de documentos escritos a mano.
Los maravillosos cuadernos que produjeron y el sistema interactivo que utilizaron les ayudaron a comprender cómo se combinan las diferentes tecnologías para producir y almacenar conocimientos y les ayudaron a desarrollar sus habilidades motoras y la capacidad de crear documentos claros, organizados y bien presentados.
