Last February 10, the Solar Aquatic Center of Rochester College witnessed an extraordinary event: the OLA Cup, Olga León de Aljure. With the participation of 11 clubs and a total of 178 high performance swimmers, along with 43 enthusiastic festival swimmers, this competition marked a milestone in the world of Colombian swimming.
Excitement and energy vibrated in every corner as the athletes prepared to face the aquatic challenges. From the first splash to the last thrust, each swimmer demonstrated dedication, skill and determination, raising the standard of excellence in the pool.
The final results reflected the hard work and passion of each participating team. In first place, Club Compensar stood out, with its President, a Rochester alumnus, leading and motivating numerous swimmers to victory. In second place, Club Bogotano demonstrated their skill and commitment to the sport, while in third place, Club Deportivo Rochester made the school community proud with their impressive performance. Congratulations!
Beyond the results, the OLA Swimming Cup was a testament to the spirit of friendship and shared passion for the aquatic sport. Every swimmer, coach and spectator contributed to the success of this event, enriching the experience with their enthusiasm and unwavering support.

Brillando en el Agua: La Copa OLA de Natación en el Centro Acuático Solar del Colegio Rochester

El pasado 10 de febrero, el Centro Acuático Solar del colegio Rochester fue testigo de un evento extraordinario: la Copa OLA, Olga León de Aljure de Natación. Con la participación de 11 clubes y un total de 178 nadadores de alto desempeño, junto con 43 entusiastas nadadores del festival, esta competencia marcó un hito en el mundo de la natación colombiana.
La emoción y la energía vibraban en cada rincón mientras los atletas se preparaban para enfrentar los desafíos acuáticos. Desde el primer chapoteo hasta el último impulso, cada nadador demostró dedicación, habilidad y determinación, elevando el estándar de excelencia en la piscina.
Los resultados finales reflejaron el arduo trabajo y la pasión de cada equipo participante. En primer lugar, el Club Compensar se destacó, con su Presidente, un exalumno del Rochester, liderando y motivando a numerosos nadadores hacia la victoria. En segundo lugar, el Club Bogotano demostró su destreza y compromiso con el deporte, mientras que en tercer lugar, el Club Deportivo Rochester llenó de orgullo a la comunidad escolar con su impresionante desempeño. ¡Felicitaciones!
Más allá de los resultados, la Copa OLA de Natación fue un testimonio del espíritu de la amistad y la pasión compartida por el deporte acuático. Cada nadador, entrenador y espectador contribuyó al éxito de este evento, enriqueciendo la experiencia con su entusiasmo y apoyo inquebrantable.
