Shared Bread – Fundación Educativa Rochester

“If you can’t feed 100 people, feed one.”  Mother Teresa of Calcutta

The “Shared Bread” is an initiative of solidarity, fruit of the work of the Rochester Educational Foundation and the sustainability team. On a daily basis, many people in our community are in need, especially for not having enough to eat, a situation that has been improving thanks to those sensitive hearts that are always present in the Rochesterian community for whom sharing means accompanying and supporting the other.

Congratulations to the entire community for this excellent work that has borne fruit. So far, we have managed to make four monthly market deliveries for the 30 families of the children who participate in the bilingualism project “English for Fusca”.  In this last delivery, in March, for the first time this year, we had the families in our facilities, which generated a sense of belonging and a feeling of gratitude. It is worth mentioning that through the project, we have also been able to benefit the families of some of our collaborators, which allows us to continually expand our circle of support to achieve sustainability. Congratulations and let’s all continue united for this wonderful cause!

The bread we share is happiness and hope for all.
