Para la Fundación Educativa Rochester es un gusto y un gran orgullo compartir la buena noticia de que se logra continuar con el 2do Año del Programa de Inglés para Chía en 2025, beneficiando a los 23 estudiantes que iniciaron en el 2024, gracias a la generosa donación de la Mutinacional WOOD y el trabajo colaborativo con el Colegio Rochester.
Este año regresamos llenos de energía y felicidad, listos para otro emocionante año de aprendizaje. Nuestro objetivo es cubrir las unidades 5 a 9 del libro "Our World."
Los estudiantes han crecido, están más altos y son aún más increíbles. Se han adaptado a la rutina en las instalaciones del Colegio Rochester y realmente les encanta pertenecer a esta bella comunidad, haciendo de cada día una experiencia llena de aprendizaje y diversión.
Como parte de nuestras clases de Inglés, organizamos un Desfile de Modas para practicar la descripción de la ropa. Aunque los estudiantes usan uniforme todos los días, trajeron sus atuendos favoritos en sus mochilas y los lucieron para la actividad. Con música de pasarela de fondo, caminaron con confianza desfilando y modelando sus prendas, mientras sus compañeros describían lo que llevaban puesto. ¡Fue una forma divertida, creativa e interactiva de reforzar el vocabulario y aumentar su confianza al hablar en inglés!

SECOND YEAR OF THE ENGLISH FOR CHÍA PROGRAM: A REALITY FOR THE ROCHESTER EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION AND THE COMMUNITY - GREAT SAMPLE THROUGH A FASHION SHOW!

For the Rochester Educational Foundation it is a pleasure and a great pride to share the good news that we were able to continue with the 2nd Year of the English for Chía Program in 2025, benefiting the 23 students who started in 2024, thanks to the generous donation of the multinational company WOOD and the collaborative work with Rochester School.
This year we return full of energy and happiness, ready for another exciting year of learning. Our goal is to cover Units 5 through 9 of the "Our World " book. The students have grown up, taller and even more amazing. They have settled into the routine at the Rochester School facilities and truly love belonging to this beautiful community, making each day a fun-filled learning experience.
As part of our English classes, we organized a Fashion Show to practice describing clothes. Although the students wear uniforms every day, they brought their favorite outfits in their backpacks and wore them for the activity. With runway music playing in the background, they walked confidently parading and modeling their outfits, while their peers described what they were wearing. It was a fun, creative and interactive way to reinforce vocabulary and increase their confidence in speaking English!
