Pan Compartido: Entrega de Marzo de 2025 - Un Acto de Solidaridad que Transforma Vidas

El Colegio Rochester y la Fundación Educativa Rochester desean expresar su más sincero agradecimiento a los padres de familia, estudiantes y colaboradores de la comunidad rochesteriana por su generosa contribución de productos de mercado para la iniciativa de Pan Compartido del mes de Marzo de 2025. Este proyecto solidario tiene como objetivo contribuir a mejorar la calidad de vida y garantizar la alimentación de las familias vulnerables de los 23 estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Oficial Fonquetá, cuyos hijos son beneficiarios del Programa Inglés para Chía de lla Fundación Educativa Rochester, en el municipio de Chía, y de  7 colaboradores del colegio quienes enfrentan necesidades particulares y, en algunos casos, situaciones de calamidad.

La quinta entrega de mercados de este año escolar 2024-2025 se llevó a cabo el jueves, 20 de marzo de 2025, durante la cual se realizaron actividades lúdicas en las cuales los niños practicaron habilidades, se divirtieron y expresaron su agradecimiento por los productos recibidos. Este evento, organizado con gran esfuerzo y dedicación, fue posible gracias a la participación activa del equipo del Área de Sostenibilidad, Social y Ambiental, el Área de Religión, los estudiantes de Servicio Social y los estudiantes de Quinto Grado del Colegio Rochester. La entrega no solo proporcionó alimentos, sino también esperanza y bienestar a las familias beneficiarias. Cada producto donado tiene un impacto directo en la vida de estas personas, alimentando cuerpos y generando alegría, solidaridad y esperanza en muchos niños y adultos.

El proyecto de Pan Compartido es un claro ejemplo del trabajo en equipo y de la capacidad de la comunidad educativa para crear un impacto positivo en las vidas de aquellos que más lo necesitan. La alianza entre el Colegio Rochester y la Fundación Educativa Rochester (FER) demuestra que el espíritu altruista y el esfuerzo colectivo pueden marcar una diferencia significativa en la vida de muchas personas, alineándose con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de naciones Unidas # 1: Fin de la Pobreza; # 2: Hambre Cero; #3: Salud y Bienestar; #17: Alianzas para lograr los Objetivos.

A cada uno de ustedes: ¡gracias por su solidaridad y por ser agentes de cambio en nuestra comunidad! Su apoyo no solo alimenta, sino que también fortalece los lazos de unidad y compasión en nuestra sociedad.

Shared Bread: March 2025 Delivery - An Act of Solidarity that Transforms LivesRochester School and the Rochester Educational Foundation wish to express their most sincere gratitude to the parents, family members, students and collaborators of the Rochester community for their generous contribution of food products for the Shared Bread initiative in the month of March, 2025. This solidarity project aims to contribute to improve the standard of living and ensure the nutrition of the vulnerable families of the 23 students of the Fonquetá Official Eduational Institution, whose children are beneficiaries of the English for Chía Program of the Rochester Educational Foundation, in the municipality of Chía, and 7 school collaborators who face particular needs and, in some cases, situations of calamity.

The fifth delivery of markets of this school year 2024-2025 took place on Thursday, March 20, 2025, during which there were playful activities where the children had fun and expressed their gratitude for the products received. This event, organized with great effort and dedication, was possible thanks to the active participation of the Social and Environmental Sustainability Area team, the Religion Area, as well as the Social Service students and the Sixth Grade students of Rochester School. The delivery not only provided food, but also hope and well-being to the beneficiary families. Each donated product has a direct impact on the lives of these people, feeding them with food and nurturing their lives.

The Shared Bread project is a clear example of teamwork and the ability of the educational community to create a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most. The partnership between Rochester School and the Rochester Educational Foundation (FER) demonstrates that the altruistic spirit and collective effort can make a significant difference in the lives of many people, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals #1: No Poverty; #2: Zero Hunger; #3: Good Health and Well-Being; #17: Partnerships for the Goals.
