Have you heard about the math-filled celebration that happened at Lower Primary? That's right, Pi Day was in full swing on March 14th (3/14), and it was a blast!
What's Pi Day, you ask? Well, it's a day dedicated to celebrating the mathematical constant π (pi), which represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. But here's the kicker—it's not just about numbers and equations; it's about having a ton of fun while learning!
Our Lower Primary students put on a show-stopping event, showcasing their talents in Mathematics, Computer Science, Robotics, and Chess. And let me tell you, they demonstrated high-quality learning!
From interactive presentations where attendees tackled math problems using all four operations (that's addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to coding robots to follow commands, there was excitement around every corner.
But wait, there's more! Parents joined in on the action, learning alongside their kids and even challenging each other to chess matches. It was a real family affair!
And guess what? The kids used iPads to create Keynote presentations, diagram, and design, showcasing their skills to create graphs and represent data in innovative and creative ways.
So, while Pi Day may have come and gone, the memories will last a lifetime. It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of interesting facts about pi. Here's to next year's celebration—until then, keep calculating and stay curious!
¡La Celebración de Aprendizaje Útil del Día de Pi en Primaria Baja!

¿Has escuchado sobre la celebración llena de matemáticas que tuvo lugar en Primaria Baja? ¡Así es, el Día de Pi estuvo en pleno el 14 de marzo (3/14), y fue una maravilla!
¿Qué es el Día de Pi, preguntas? Bueno, es un día dedicado a celebrar la constante matemática π (pi), que representa la relación entre la circunferencia de un círculo y su diámetro. Pero aquí está lo interesante: ¡no se trata solo de números y ecuaciones; se trata de divertirse mientras se aprende!
Nuestros estudiantes de Primaria Baja organizaron un evento espectacular, mostrando sus talentos en Matemáticas, Ciencias de la Computación, Robótica y Ajedrez. ¡Y aprendimos y disfrutamos de actividades de calidad!
Desde presentaciones interactivas donde los asistentes abordaron problemas matemáticos utilizando las cuatro operaciones (sí, suma, resta, multiplicación y división) hasta la programación de robots para seguir comandos, había emoción en cada rincón.
¡Pero espera, hay más! Los padres se unieron a la acción, aprendiendo junto a sus hijos e incluso desafiándose mutuamente a partidas de ajedrez. ¡Fue un verdadero evento familiar!
Y ¿sabes qué? Los niños utilizaron iPads para crear presentaciones de Keynote, diagramar y diseñar, mostrando habilidades para crear gráficas y representar datos de manera innovadora y creativa.
Así que, el Día de Pi fue un día lleno de risas, aprendizaje y un montón de datos matemáticos interesantes. ¡Hasta entonces, sigamos calculando y manteniendo viva nuestra curiosidad!
