Congratulations to the athletes of the High Performance Swimming School, who qualified and participated in the NATIONAL FINAL OF THE INTERCOLLEGIATE GAMES version 2021, in the city of Pereira from May 5 to 9.
Juan Diego Mantilla Chacón, Nicolás Domínguez Galindo and Juan Esteban Daza, representatives of Rochester school, totaled 11 medals.
These were the results:
Juan Diego Mantilla Chacón 4 gold medals in 50, 100 butterfly, 50 and 200 meters backstroke, and two gold medals in team events: 4 x 100 combined team and 4 x 200 free team.
Nicolás Domínguez Galindo 1 gold medal in 50 meters breaststroke, and 1 silver medal in 100 meters breaststroke and 2 gold medals in team event: 4 x 100 combined team and gold in 4 x 200 free team.
Juan Esteban Daza Forero, pre-juvenile category, placed 4th in the 50, and 5th place in the 100 and 200 meters backstroke and is in projection for the Interschool Games 2022.
With this sporting merit Juan Diego and Nicolas will receive as an incentive, a scholarship to continue their university studies.

Resumen:Felicitaciones a los deportistas de la Escuela de Natación de Alto Desempeño, quienes clasificaron y participaron en la FINAL NACIONAL DE LOS JUEGOS INTERCOLEGIADOS versión 2021, en la ciudad de Pereira del 5 al 9 de Mayo.
Juan Diego Mantilla Chacón, Nicolás Domínguez Galindo y Juan Esteban Daza, representantes del colegio Rochester, sumaron 11 medallas.
Estos fueron los resultados:
Juan Diego Mantilla Chacón 4 Medallas de oro en 50, 100 mariposa, 50 y 200 metros espalda, y dos oros en prueba por equipos: 4 x 100 combinado por equipos y 4 x 200 libre por equipos.
Nicolás Domínguez Galindo 1 medalla de oro en 50 metros pecho, y 1 de plata en 100 metros pecho y 2 de oro en prueba por equipos: 4 x 100 combinado por equipos y oro en 4 x 200 libre por equipos.
Juan Esteban Daza Forero, categoría pre juvenil, se ubicó en el 4to puesto en los 50, y 5to puesto en el 100 y 200 metros espalda y se encuentra en proyección para los Juegos Intercolegiados 2022.
Con este mérito deportivo Juan Diego y Nicolás recibirán como incentivo, una beca para continuar con sus estudios universitarios.
