Hermann Tröger Peña, exalumno de la promoción 1995, ha construido una destacada trayectoria en el mundo del diseño y la animación 3D. Graduado en Diseño Industrial de la Universidad Javeriana y en 3D Character Animation del Vancouver Animation School, ha desarrollado su carrera en Hamburgo, Alemania, donde ha trabajado con algunas de las agencias de diseño más importantes del país.
En 2015, decidió fundar su propio estudio, Tröger Media GmbH, especializado en CGI y animación 3D, el cual dirige junto a su esposa, diseñadora gráfica y motion designer. Su empresa ha colaborado con compañías líderes en el mercado, desarrollando visualizaciones y presentaciones en 3D de alto impacto.
Su pasión por la enseñanza lo ha llevado a compartir su conocimiento desde 2016 como profesor en línea de Digital Arts, animación y cortometrajes 3D en el Vancouver Animation School. Además, su trabajo en el desarrollo visual de una película mexicana los llevó a abrir una filial en la Ciudad de México.
Hermann recuerda con gratitud su paso por el Colegio Rochester, donde la disciplina y la constancia fueron pilares fundamentales en su formación. Destaca la influencia de sus profesores, especialmente Meño, quien lo introdujo al mundo del Diseño Industrial y el 3D, y cuyas clases de dibujo técnico fortalecieron su visión espacial y su capacidad de resolución de problemas.
Para las nuevas generaciones, su consejo es claro:"Sean disciplinados y constantes en lo que hacen. Si ponen amor en su trabajo, nunca sentirán que están ‘trabajando’.”
Hermann Tröger Peña - From Rochester School to the world of 3D Design and Animation

Hermann Tröger Peña, alumnus of the 1995 graduating class, has built an outstanding career in the world of design and 3D animation. Graduated in Industrial Design from Javeriana University and 3D Character Animation from Vancouver Animation School, he has developed his career in Hamburg, Germany, where he has worked with some of the most important design agencies in the country.
In 2015, he decided to found his own studio, Tröger Media GmbH, specializing in CGI and 3D animation, which he runs with his wife, a graphic designer and motion designer. His company has collaborated with leading companies in the market, developing high-impact 3D visualizations and presentations.
His passion for teaching has led him to share his knowledge since 2016 as an online teacher of Digital Arts, animation and 3D short films at the Vancouver Animation School. In addition, his work on the visual development of a Mexican film led them to open a branch in Mexico City.
Hermann recalls with gratitude his time at Rochester School, where discipline and perseverance were fundamental pillars in his education. He highlights the influence of his teachers, especially Meño, who introduced him to the world of Industrial Design and 3D, and whose technical drawing classes strengthened his spatial vision and problem-solving skills.
For the new generations, his advice is clear:
“Be disciplined and consistent in what you do. If you put love into your work, you will never feel like you are 'working'.”
