First-grade students have been learning about food and they have compared our culture with other cultures. They learned about food in other countries, and the difference between breakfast, lunch and dinner. They used comparison charts and Venn diagrams to understand other traditions. They wrote about what they usually eat on each meal. As a final product, students designed an international menu.

Resumen:Los estudiantes de Transición han estado aprendiendo sobre la comida y han comparado nuestra cultura con otras culturas. Aprendieron sobre la comida en otros países, y la diferencia entre desayuno, almuerzo y cena. Usaron tablas comparativas y diagramas de Venn para entender otras tradiciones. Escribieron sobre lo que comen usualmente en cada comida. Como producto final, los estudiantes diseñaron un menú internacional.
