Para este bimestre, los estudiantes de Kinder se prepararon en casa (con el apoyo de las familias) y en colegio con el fin de participar en el Show and Tell ”Spelling Bee. Los niños hicieron diferentes actividades de deletreo, utilizando las palabras que fuimos introduciendo semana a semana. Estas incluían CVC words, vocabulario general y términos relacionados con nuestro proyecto del espacio, con el que hemos trabajado a lo largo del año de manera interdisciplinar.
De manera individual, cada estudiante participó en un preconcurso de deletreo, lo que permitió seleccionar a un grupo de niños para la ronda final llevado a cabo en el Show and Tell. Durante esta presentación, los estudiantes enfrentaron el desafío de deletrear tanto palabras previamente estudiadas como algunas palabras sorpresa, todo esto frente a sus compañeros y familias.
Esta actividad no solo permitió evidenciar el desarrollo del lenguaje en los niños, sino también su espíritu de sana competencia, liderazgo y habilidades de pensamiento. Fue un espacio enriquecedor donde los estudiantes se divirtieron, demostraron confianza en sí mismos y el fruto de su esfuerzo y dedicación a lo largo del proceso de aprendizaje, además de contar con el valioso apoyo y participación de las familias.
Spelling Bee

Kinder Family Coordinators
For this bimester, Kinder students prepared themselves at home (with the support of families) and at school to participate in the Show and Tell "Spelling Bee”. Children did different spelling activities in classes, using the words we were introducing week by week. These included CVC words, general vocabulary and words related to our space project, words that we have worked throughout the year in an interdisciplinary way.
Individually, each student participated in a pre-spelling contest, which allowed a group of children to be selected for the final round held at Show and Tell Day. During this presentation, students faced the challenge of spelling both previously studied words and some surprise words, all in front of their peers and families.
This activity not only highlighted the development of language in children, but also their spirit of healthy competence, leadership and thinking skills. It was an enriching space where students had fun, showed self-confidence and the fruit of their effort and dedication throughout the learning process, as well as having the valuable support and participation of families.
