English for Chia: Bilingualism Project becomes a reality in 2024 for the children of the Fonquetá Official Educational Institution
The Rochester Educational Foundation shares with joy and pride the news of having been selected by the multinational company Wood Plc as the recipient of a donation destined to make the first year of the four proposed years of the bilingualism project English for Chía, to be implemented during 2024, and whose beneficiaries will be 23 students from 6 to 10 years old, of limited resources, from the Official Educational Institution Fonquetá, in the municipality of Chía.

This will be an exciting journey towards bilingualism, which promises to enrich the educational experience of the community of the Fonquetá Official Educational Institution. This strategy has been designed to strengthen the language skills of elementary students of this institution, who have been selected under criteria of commitment on the part of the families and children involved.
This project for the learning of a second language, in this case, English, is possible thanks to an alliance between the Rochester Educational Foundation and the multinational company Wood PLC. The project's goal is to support the 23 students of the Fonquetá Educational Institution, who will attend Rochester School from Mondays through Thursdays, starting January 22, 2024. The project is expected to generate a positive impact on the academic and personal development of the participating students, as we have seen with the first English bilingualism project English for Fusca.
The initiative has an integrative approach that focuses not only on second language learning, but also on creating enriching and meaningful experiences for the children, who are at the heart of this initiative. They will be immersed in a stimulating educational environment that will foster their love for learning English and will feature activities designed to be entertaining, creative and educational, aimed not only at cultivating language proficiency, but also the development of cognitive, social and emotional skills.The commitment of the Rochester Educational Foundation and Wood PLC to the success of this project is evident, as both are dedicated to providing resources, instruction and ongoing accompaniment to the selected students, so that they have the opportunity to acquire key language skills and practical experiences to develop successful and happy individuals in an increasingly diverse and competitive world.We invite you to learn more about this beautiful project of education, solidarity and social transformation by clicking on the following link!

Inglés para Chía: Proyecto de Bilingüismo hecho realidad en 2024 para Niños de la Institución Educativa Oficial Fonquetá
La Fundación Educativa Rochester comparte con alegría y orgullo la noticia de haber sido seleccionada por la empresa multinacional Wood Plc como receptor de una donación destinada a hacer realidad el primer año de los cuatro que se proponen, del proyecto de bilingüismo Inglés para Chía, que se implementará durante el 2024, y cuyos beneficiarios serán 23 estudiantes de 6 a 10 años, de escasos recursos, de la Institución Educativa Oficial Fonquetá, en el municipio de Chía.
¡FELICITACIONES POR UN GRAN REGALO DE NAVIDAD PARA LOS ESTUDIANTES BENEFICIARIOS DEL PROGRAMA!
Este será un apasionante viaje hacia el bilingüismo, que promete enriquecer la experiencia educativa de la comunidad de la Institución Educativa Oficial Fonquetá. Esta estrategia ha sido pensada para fortalecer las habilidades lingüísticas de estudiantes de primaria de esta institución, los cuales han sido seleccionados bajo criterios de compromiso por parte de las familias y niños participantes.
Este proyecto para el aprendizaje de una segunda lengua, en este caso, Inglés, se logra gracias a una alianza entre la Fundación Educativa Rochester y la multinacional Wood PLC. El proyecto tiene como meta apoyar a los 23 estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Fonquetá, quienes asistirán al Colegio Rochester de lunes a jueves, a partir del 22 de enero de 2024. Se espera que el proyecto tenga un impacto positivo en el desarrollo académico y personal de los estudiantes participantes, tal como lo hemos visto con el primer proyecto de bilingüismo Inglés para Fusca.
La iniciativa tiene un enfoque integrador que no solo se centra en el aprendizaje de la segunda lengua, sino también en la creación de experiencias enriquecedoras y significativas para los niños, que son el corazón de esta iniciativa. Ellos estarán en una inmersión en un entorno educativo estimulante que fomentará el amor por el aprendizaje del inglés y contará con actividades diseñadas para ser entretenidas, creativas y educativas, orientadas no solo a cultivar la competencia del idioma, sino también el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas, sociales y emocionales.
El compromiso de la Fundación Educativa Rochester y Wood PLC con el éxito de este proyecto es evidente, dado que ambas están dedicadas a proporcionar recursos, enseñanza y acompañamiento continuo a los estudiantes seleccionados, para que estos estudiantes tengan la oportunidad de adquirir habilidades lingüísticas clave y experiencias prácticas para formar individuos exitosos y felices en un mundo cada vez más diverso y competitivo.
