This week, Rochester´s 3rd grade students practiced and began to learn about angles and lines. They used creative strategies to understand the different types of lines and angles that we can find in real objects and structures. They have enjoyed creating angles and identifying parallel and perpendicular lines, especially when we make contests to motivate their learning.
They found the 3 types of lines in several structures around the school and learned different techniques to create lines with the correct measurement. Another activity was to identify sides and angles in a gigantic wool polygon.
