Our educational project aims at using and applying knowledge through a healthy, courteous and joyful school environment to develop useful competencies for students’ lives and the world in multiple areas of knowledge such as English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, mathematics, natural sciences, social sciences, computer science, arts, physical education, religious education and character development. The certification as a LEED Gold, Green and Healthy School (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) granted by the United States Green Building Council has allowed our school to facilitate and promote considerable improvement in health and learning in its new pioneering facilities since 2012, together with considerable reductions in environmental impact. The air quality inside the classrooms helps oxygenation of the brain and optimum learning. An intelligent lighting system takes advantage of diffused natural light to provide students’ eyes with healthy and optimal learning; the sound insulation of the classroom facilitates for concentration and learning, solar photovoltaic and thermal systems, our innovative wastewater treatment plant, orchards, composting, landscaping and our waste management plan are all part of our sustainability curriculum for students to learn about environmental conservation and nature appreciation.
The certification as a school Recognized for Excellence (R4E) by EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) has allowed us to ensure the desired results through processes, and to provide quality service oriented towards innovation and excellence.
